Speaker 0: your home router is quietly watching you right now, and it doesn't need a camera or your phone to know exactly who you are. new breakthrough tech has turned standard wi fi signals into unencrypted invisible biometric tracker that can identify you through the walls with near perfect accuracy. the wi fi signal becomes a biometric tracker. so here's the problem i have with this story before i jump into my stuff. it says here researchers at germany, carl's institute of technology developed bfld, a system using off the shelf wi fi hardware and ai to identify individuals 99.5 accuracy. bullshit. and the reason i'm not saying this can't be done. i'm saying bullshit that they develop it. you wanna know why? because this technology was developed by reuben. you know my buddy? i talk about doing crazy, ai shit all the time. sorry for my language. so this literally is the software code and the github repository where you can go and get this exact code. Speaker 1: what they're talking about is not bs. the fact that they're claiming that they did it is bs. let's Speaker 0: absolutely. absolutely. yeah. so this github has been around for years. he's been working on this, you know, last you know, just all the time. he talks about it on linkedin all the freaking time where we go next step. you can do this with a $9 sensor and this software. he's also got hardware and stuff out. so this has been around for a long time. okay? so i'm not saying that the technology is bull. i'm saying these researchers in germany decided to pull, this, free software that, reuben puts out there and say, hey. look what we discovered. great. like, this is part of your breathing rate, your heart rate, presence detection, 17 key point pose estimation so you can, determine your posture, motion activity, fall detection if you fall, multi person count, so how many people in the room. it can actually track the one chip and the basic software is back and track three to five separate individuals for health tracking, sleep tracking, walking around, heart rate so it knows when you're walking around what you're doing. through wall sensor, it's camera free. like, this stuff is really cool, and this github's there to, tell you how to set it all up. but he's also got, this new hardware box. you can buy a seed for $2.57, which allows all of this. you can tell, what it can do here. it's at, cognitum one. anyway, i've been following this for a long time, and i was really itching to buy one of these when it came out a couple of months ago, because he's been althing and i watched the the first release, and now it really looks packaged. but, like, you can do so many things with this. i sent this to a buddy of mine who's working on some medical tracking stuff, and said, hey. you should be looking at this for additional tracking and additional information. so let's get back into it. this completely obliterates the concept of physical privacy. it means you can be tracked, profiled, and bio monitored by a building just walking past it even if your phone is turned completely on. like i said, it can tell your breathing rate, your heart rate, if you're sleeping. you can use it for alpha vitals, safety, security, building automation, analytics, you know, for queue length, dwell heat, heat maps, table turnover, people counting, just, like, thinking out loud about, you know, the stuff they have on the website around, what you could possibly track, you know, like interactions, gesture recognition, point pointing, swiping, emotional emotion inference. and you can do all sorts of things. but this technology is really cool. the question becomes who owns it. this is already plug and play with apple, their wi fi stuff, the google home, and several other wi fi things. it's plug and play in it. so this exists already. you can download the code, and with a $9 chip, they show you a link where to buy it. you can start running this right now, or you can buy the more expensive packages and whatnot. but this is really cool. think of this like people walking through an invisible room filled with millions of microscopic floating ping pong balls. every time you move, your arms take a step. or even if you breathe, you dent and displace the cloud of balls in the way. if it's entirely unique to your body, shape, and gait, the router isn't looking at you with a lens. it's counting how those ping pong balls bounce off your chest and walls, letting ai reconstruct your exact three d body outline in the dark. what do you think about this technology, john? Speaker 1: yeah. i, it's scary. so the like, what the researchers found was there people walking through wi fi covered areas create a unique pattern of signal distortion. so it's very similar to, like, your fingerprints or voice prints or retinal scans. and this is scary. so i guess what i'm worried about is if we're just learning about this now in the last couple years, how long has this been implemented in ways that we don't know? like, like, how much data have they gathered already based using, using channel state information. right? Speaker 0: agreed. and i wouldn't be surprised if the military contacted reuben directly and asked him a few things about this stuff because just looking at this, he's definitely way ahead of almost everybody out there. like, he's prepackaged it. so if you could buy the thing, plug it in, and go, then these scientists, they say, look what we've discovered. and he's like, yeah. i discovered that, like, two years ago, and now i've perfected it. we can track a thousand different things and use it for this, and it's productized. you could buy it and determine whether, put it in your mother's home, if she's fallen, what her heart rate is, what her health is, blah blah blah. track it all, and you can see if there's things happening that you need to be aware of. and, bam, $9. Speaker 1: yeah. that's crazy. Speaker 0: so it's crazy. i love this technology. i love that you sent me this article because it got me a chance to, show you how the crazy stuff, reuben's doing. if you have a chance, go check them out. reuben, r e u b e n, reuben, over on linkedin. he's always posting about crazy ai stuff. he was doing claude swarms long before claude was able to do them. so don't take a look at his roo flow if you're into coding, and ai coding swarms and stuff, and take a look at this review if you're interested and follow him because he's talking about crazy stuff. this is fantastic bleeding edge technology. and, you know, when i say he's too crazy stuff, like, this is the kind of crazy stuff he's been doing Speaker 1: yeah. Speaker 0: i'm thinking about buying this because it's probably gonna be a better tracker sleep tracker than any of the other trackers i have because they just don't work for me. so whether i just let a little sleep and have that much of sleep deficiency or it just doesn't work. Speaker 1: yeah. Speaker 0: and i encourage everybody who's poking around. maybe if you got kids, maybe if you're whatever, this looks like a great d, iui kit, $9 order, get some code, throw it on your laptop, and plug it into your wi fi home and see what you can do. right? Speaker 1: for sure. yeah. just, i sent you his, his github. if you wanna post it up there, it's not no big deal. but it's, ruv net slash, r u v. Speaker 0: yeah. it's right here. yeah. and i was showing that. if anybody's interested, it's right here. Speaker 1: yeah. Speaker 0: let me zoom in. i don't know if i could do it. but check it out. and if you go to runet, he's got his other stuff. and, like, he's been number one on github for a lot of things for a long time. just, like, crazy stuff. local person in toronto well, hasn't been out to my events in a while since he's been working on stuff. he used to come out to start events and pitch a great person. check out his stuff. it's fantastic. and wi fi is no longer just delivering the internet to your house. it's officially mapping the physical geometry of your life. drop a comment below. would you deploy a camera free wi fi only tracker in your home to monitor an elderly relative, or does the idea of unencrypted radio waves or reading your heartbeat through the walls completely freak you out? let us know in the chat.
